Single Decos

Consist of designs that appear complete on a single tile, either on
4 1/4 inch or 6 inch tiles.

4 1/4 inch range in price starting at $15.00 per tile and up to $30.00 per tile.

6 inch tiles range from $30.00 per tile to $60.00 per tile.

Pricing varies depending on intricacy and style of design.

 

Repeating Borders

Consist of designs that run from one tile to the next, usually a single tile in height.

These type of patterns are measured by the linear foot or per tile.

4 1/4 = 3 tiles per linear foot and run between $50.00 and $75.00 per linear foot.

6 inch tiles = 2 tiles per linear foot and run between $60.00 and $100.00 per linear foot.

 

Murals

Consist of designs that flow over an area of tile. These are measured by the square foot. The pricing is consistent for 6 inch or 4 1/4 inch tiles. Measure the height times the width in inches and divide by 144. This will give you the square footage of the area in mind.

Often backsplash murals can be framed with trim tile such as a rope detail tile or designed to fade subtlely and fill a large area nicely without the expense of hand painting the tile for the whole area. Or entire showers can be painted with an underwater scene that flows from one wall to the next. Or a scene that meanders traveling a road through the country with white fences and country life depicted. Or a scene of a steeple chase in motion wrapping around a powder room's wainscot. Or your grandchild's artwork transfered onto tile for your laundry/mudroom, something to make you smile as you do your chores!

As I mentioned before, the imagination is the only limiting factor on what can be accomplished with art on tile! Send a photograph, wallpaper, or material swatch, (or picture) and I can design an image to hand paint on any size tile to cover any size area. Or describe an idea, including favorite things, places, animals, sports, hobbies and I can design it from scratch.

Order a black and white sketch for $50.00 or a color rendering for $95.00. If you choose to have the tile project painted, the price of the proof will be deducted from the completed job. Artwork of this nature is mostly labor intensive and each project is priced separately. However the average price per square foot runs between $175.00 to $225.00 per square foot.
